Trip Overview
Specially arranged in collaboration with the Galapagos Conservation Trust and Charles Darwin Foundation, undertake this week long cruise of the magical Galapagos Island’s accompanied by noted writer and conservationist Randal Keynes. Randal is also the great great-grandson of Charles Darwin, who famously first brought The Galapagos to the world’s attention. Travelling onboard the sailing yacht The Beagle, specially chartered by Steppes Travel, you will explore the incredible richness and variety of the archipelago’s fauna and flora, with daily landings accompanied by both Randal and your highly experienced naturalist guide. Included on your last day in Galapagos is a rare and privileged visit behind-the-scenes at the Charles Darwin Research Centre, where you will be able to meet part of the research team whose critical work is supported by this trip.
