As the General Manager of Steppes East, I’m responsible for the day to day managing of the team along with Steppes East’s resort portfolio and tailor made itineraries for countries ranging from Russia through to Indonesia. Having grown up in South East Asia, I have travelled extensively and endeavour to offer the very best of the many luxurious resorts from around the world.

What has been your favourite travel experience?
Watching giant turtles swimming just off the beach in Talpe, southwest Sri Lanka.
The best hotel/lodge that you have stayed in?
Amangalla, Galle, Sri Lanka.
What has been your most remote travel experience?
Haa Valley, Bhutan.
Most embarrassing travel experience?
Having a huge blister plaster put on my foot by the wonderful guides at Kasbah du Toubkal, Atlas Mountains, Morocco and having to admit that I'd only walked up from the car park in the wrong shoes rather than having done a trek.
Your one luxury when you travel?
Product to stop my hair frizzing.
What’s your best piece of travel advice?
Don't lose your temper, always remain calm - especially in Asia.
Where you would like to visit next and why?
The Galapagos Islands to see the blue footed booby.
